Solving “This Product Does Not Use the Domain you’ve Selected for Instagram Shopping” WIX 2021

Even the best of us get lost in the countless errors involved with selling platforms. This error has caused a weeks worth of headaches. If you've been getting this error when trying to manage your catalogue on Instagram Shopping. Hopefully this helps solve those issues.

Note: These troubleshooting steps are done using Google Chrome and an iPhone SE 2020.

Access your “Facebook Business Settings” by going to - Click your business.

Look for “Brand Safety” on the left side of your screen.

Click on Domains

Under “Domains”, click the Domain you’re using (For example: We chose our domain)

At the top click “Add Assets”

Click the Asset(s) you want to use, then click “Add”. (For example we chose our assets)

Once you’ve completed adding your assets, log into your Instagram account using your smart device.

Click on “Account”

Click on “Settings”

Click on “Shopping”

Once you're there, The "Website" option should appear, and an option to request for a domain change should be available.

Instagram typically takes 12-48 hours to complete your request.
