Vogue Magazine Mockups – Editorial Design Demonstrations

Created a series of high-fidelity Vogue magazine cover and editorial spread mockups using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator as teaching examples for my Graphic Design and Publication Design courses. The project features Rihanna on the cover and two internal spreads with powerful motivational headlines: “Never a Failure…” and “Always a Lesson.”

These mockups were designed to demonstrate professional editorial techniques to students, including sophisticated layout composition, typography hierarchy, image treatment, and realistic production standards. They served as practical visual aids that bridged theory and real-world application, showing how to create polished, client-ready magazine designs from concept to finished presentation.

Morgantha’s Dream Pasteries –
Branding & Promotional Materials

Created a complete brand identity and promotional package for Morgantha’s Dream Pasteries, a fictional bakery featured in a Dungeons & Dragons campaign set in the gothic realm of Barovia. The project includes a custom circular logo featuring a stylized magical pie with an ornate “M” monogram, paired with elegant fantasy-inspired typography. I also designed two facetious advertising flyers that playfully promote the shop’s “heavenly” mincemeat pastries from the infamous Old Bonegrinder windmill. The flyers use dark gothic aesthetics and tongue-in-cheek marketing language — highlighting secret ingredients, limited supplies, and cheeky offers like “Free Childcare While You Eat,” “Buy 1 Get 1 Free,” and “Free Dream Pastry on Your First Visit” — to create an immersive, humorous experience that fits perfectly with the campaign’s dark fantasy tone. This work showcases my ability to develop character-driven branding and promotional collateral that enhances storytelling and player engagement in tabletop RPG campaigns.

LUNA Premium Vodka
Brand Identity & Packaging

I Created a complete brand identity and packaging system for LUNA, a premium low-calorie vodka with real fruit juice. Drawing inspiration from the Art Nouveau movement I taught in Graphic Design History, the design features elegant flowing lines, celestial moon and star motifs, and an ethereal feminine figure within an ornate circular frame to evoke sophistication and mystery. The project included the primary brand illustration, logo development, three metallic flavor variants for aluminum cans, and digital mockups for web and mobile applications. The goal was to craft a distinctive, artistic identity that stands out in the spirits market while blending historical artistic beauty with modern beverage branding. This work demonstrates my ability to translate historical art principles into cohesive, contemporary commercial design.

Tara’s Piano Studio – Branding & Marketing Campaign (2020)

Designed the complete visual identity and promotional campaign for Tara’s Piano Studio, my own music education business established in 2001. When the COVID-19 pandemic caused significant student loss due to isolation, I created a full suite of marketing materials to successfully transition the studio to online lessons.

The project included designing the studio logo, multiple print and digital flyers, registration promotions, “Meet the Teacher” introductions, and motivational advertisements featuring the empowering headline “Turn SELF ISOLATION into an OPPORTUNITY.” Using a cohesive black-and-gold aesthetic with elegant piano imagery, the materials promoted lessons for all ages, reasonable rates, and flexible online/in-studio options.

This self-directed campaign helped re-engage existing students and attract new ones during a challenging time, demonstrating my ability to build strong branding and responsive advertising from concept to execution.

health advertisements

Created a series of bold public health awareness advertisements focused on Lyme Disease and Dementia. These designs use powerful visual metaphors and emotional storytelling to challenge stigma, educate the public, and encourage important conversations around these health issues. The Lyme Disease campaign promotes May as Lyme Awareness Month, featuring natural imagery and a clear call to seasonal preparedness. The Dementia series employs striking symbolic visuals — stitched lips representing family secrecy, blindfolds, and band-aids over the eyes — to highlight lived experience and the limitations of superficial solutions.Several of these advertisements were developed as volunteer work for health advocacy organizations, reflecting my commitment to using design for meaningful social impact.
