Stardust Empress
Acrylic on canvas · 24 × 36 × 2 · One of one
She is Cassiopeia — the vain queen of Greek mythology, immortalized in the stars as punishment for her pride, forever circling the celestial pole. Mys Nyx has rendered her in obsessive detail, adorning her with over 1,000 meticulously placed precious gems, jewels, and glass that catch and hold the light like a night sky made tangible.
But wait for darkness. The Cassiopeia constellation is painted in epoxy resin and glows in the dark — her stars emerging exactly as they appear overhead, a hidden celestial map revealed only when the lights go out.
This is not a painting you see once. It changes with the light, with the hour, with the room. One exists. One owner. Forever.
Edge of Eternity
Acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas with Austrian crystals and gold flakes
24 × 30 × 2 inches (61 × 76 × 5 cm)
A solitary figure stands poised on the edge of a jagged cliff, her flowing gown whipped by unseen winds as she commands a raging maelstrom. Above her, a luminous golden portal spirals open, pouring forth cascades of light, sparks, and shadow — a gateway between worlds amid the fury of a storm-tossed sea. Swarms of bats swirl through the chaos, guardians or messengers of the tempest she has summoned.
Layered acrylics build dramatic depth in the churning waves and brooding clouds, while hand-applied Austrian crystals and shimmering gold flakes catch the light, adding celestial sparkle and richness. The glowing portal reveals itself fully in darkness, transforming the piece into a living beacon of inner power.
Created during a self-compassion and meditation class, Siren of the Abyss emerged from a place of quiet strength. It is a personal reminder that even in life’s greatest storms and chaos, one can stand powerful, radiant, and unafraid at the threshold of transformation.
Blood on Black Satin
Acrylic on canvas · 24 × 36 × 2 in · One of one
She reclines in candlelight, draped in black satin, adorned with hundreds of precious gems and jewels — a portrait of beauty, stillness, and quiet mystery. But darkness reveals what daylight conceals.
When the lights go out, her face glows. Her spine glows. Her skull emerges beneath the surface — a luminous reminder that she was never quite what she appeared. The epoxy-painted candles continue to flicker in the dark. She is, and always was, already gone.
Blood on Black Satin is a meditation on beauty and mortality, rendered in acrylic with hidden glow-in-the-dark elements that transform the painting entirely after dark. One exists. One owner. Forever.
The Hat Man
Acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas with hand-applied Austrian crystals
30 × 36 × 2 inches (76 × 91 × 5 cm)
A spectral figure emerges from swirling shadows and starlit dust — the enigmatic Hat Man. Cloaked in darkness and crowned with a towering black top hat, he stands as a silent guardian between worlds. Streams of liquid light and crystalline energy cascade from his obscured face, while translucent, glowing hands reach outward, as if beckoning, warning, or releasing forgotten dreams.
In the background, a faded antique clock hints at the fluidity of time, while shimmering particles and deep cosmic textures dissolve the boundary between reality and the subconscious. The painting is richly layered with metallic and pearlescent acrylics, dramatically enhanced by hand-placed Austrian crystals that catch and reflect light, giving the piece an otherworldly luminosity that shifts as you move.
Part dream, part myth, part urban legend, The Hat Man explores themes of mystery, memory, and the unseen forces that linger at the edge of perception. Haunting yet mesmerizing, this large-scale work invites viewers to confront the elegant unknown that lives just beyond the veil.
